The Threads of Joy are a multicolored tangle of yarn spread widely and wildly across a great distance. The ends of each thread are usually carried or tied onto a happy-looking petitioner or other being.To speak, the threads vibrate. The threads often form massive knots in places but never impede anyone - if yo carry the end of a piece you will be able to do so as far as you desire, unless you ever cut it loose, at which point it will retract back to whatever constitutes this being's center.
The Threads of Joy are a tangled, multiple-entity being of love and compassion. The threads desire to connect with other beings, to share feelings of compassion, kindness, and love. The Threads teach us to relinquish selfishness in love; the Threads are joyed by bringing pleasure and comfort to others and expects nothing in return - it is by being unconcerned with the reciprocation that the Threads free themselves of the social game and can feel their compassion and love without distraction.
The Threads teaches us to accept and love others, to delight in their joy and comfort; and to free ourselves from the perpetual concerns of reciprocity.
The Threads weakness is its ease of being taken advantage of, naivety, and failure to account for the cases of of necessary rage. The enrgy and teachings of The Threads require caution - The Threads Themselves advise acceptance of this and the withdrawal of support, but never the cultivation of resentment.
